Land Rover has announced that the 2012 model year Defender will be fitted with a 2.2l diesel engine to meet the EU5 emission regulations and replace the out-going EU4 2.4l engine. Honister Slate Mine’s Orange Defender

Our trip to the Lakes was not totally Land Rover free, we took the Honister slate mine tour whilst we were there (well worth a look if you ever get the chance) and there were several Land Rovers in evidence, the two most striking one’s being the orange liveried Honister 110’s. http://www.honister-slate-mine.co.uk/
