Freelander 2: A striking new look

Land Rover has recently launched the MY2013 Freelander saying “The new 2013 Freelander is the smart, practical complement to the modern active lifestyle, with improved comfort, convenience and driving enjoyment.”

On the official Land Rover website they go on to say “The new Freelander 2 gives you the confidence and capability to cope with all conditions.” and “Strong lines, distinctive headlights and a purposeful stance, the Freelander 2 offers enhanced comfort with a new premium interior and a wider range of trim options.”

As a Freelander 2 owner, I’m glad to see that Land Rover have finally given the marque decent DRLs and LED tail lights. The interior update is very welcome too. It certainly gives the Freelander the same cache as the Evoque. The analogue clock is a particular favourite of mine. Much better than a digital one in my opinion!

I’m just wondering now if those headlight and tail light units will retro fit on a 2007MY???
